Description

Image depicts the sumptuous front parlor at the Nathan Appleton residence on Boston's Beacon Hill during the time of William Sumner Appleton, Sr.'s residency (Nathan's son). The rooom is filled with brocade covered chairs, finely carved wood furniture and many hung portraits. The floor is carpeted in an ornated pattern. Over the fireplace is an oversized mirror.
