The features of the Excelsior Hot Blast Cook Stove are described on the card verso. It is available from H.G. Lipp & Co., No. 13 E. King Street, Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The image caption reads "Excelsior always ahead." The exchange between the two women in the illustration is "Bridget, how did your new stove work today?" "It is the best baker in the world. It bakes bread in 40 minutes, pies in 10 and rolls in 12 minutes and as light and sweet as can be made." The bottom of the card reads F. Moras, 609 Chestnut Street, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
