Description

"Boston Museum, on Tremont Street, near Court Street, is one of the oldest and most popular places of amusement in the city. The Museum proper is very large and interesting, with its large hall and capacious galleries filled with curiosities and works of art; while the theatre is large and well-ventilated, beautifully decorated, and comfortably furnished."
