Boys coasting on Boston Common

Description

Singly and in pairs, boys slide down a hill on Boston Common on sleds, some of which are named, such as Minnehaha and Old Ironsides. Others drag their sleds to the top of the rise. Women and men watch from either side of the slope. The Massachusetts State House can be discerned through the leafless branches of the snow-covered trees.
