Description

This is a card with a woodcut inside: "With Mr. Updike's New Year's Greetings to the Friends of The Merrymount Press, Boston, MDCCCCXV." The woodcut shows a house with the square in front and a sign that says "Montes et Colles Cantabunt" (the mountains and hills shall sing) from Isaiah 55:12. There is a small statue on the left.
