Description

"Published for Jessie Wilcox Smith and Elizabeth Shippen Green by Charles W. Beck, Jr.--Philadelphia." This calendar was done by two of the premier women illustrators, who were students and close friends of Howard Pyle. There are three designs by each and are fine examples of thier styles. Designs may originally have been done for book illustrations.
