Description

This black and white lithograph depicts Boston, Boston Harbor, and environs from an aerial perspective. The image was delineated by Bert Poole, 1907, and was based (presumably) on a pencil and wash drawing. The image is subtitled "The best city in the United States to live in, to do business in, and to visit." It was published by the City of Boston Publicity and Information Bureau. Statistical and promotional text surrounds the central image.
