Description

A flyer, postmarked November 3, 1915, for the Grand Theatre in Bellows Falls, Vermont advertises the slate of new motion pictures for the week of Monday, November 6 through Saturday, November 11, 1915. On each day, a feature film and one or two short films are to be shown: Monday, "The Eternal Sappho", starring Theda Bara, with a Pathe Newsreel and comedy short; Tuesday, "Mr. Goode the Samaritan", starring DeWolf Hopper, with the third chapter of the serial, "The Secret of the Submarine"; Wednesday, "The Making of Maddaline", staring Edna Goodrich, with the Keystone comedy, "Ambrose's Cup of Woe"; Thursday, "Little Pal", starrng Mary Pickford, with chapter one of the serial, "The Crimson Stain Mystery", featuring Maurice Costello and Ethel Grandin; Friday, "The Wild Olive", starring Myrtle Stedman, with a Burton Holmes travelogue; and Saturday, "The Market of Vain Desire", starring H. B. Warner, with the Keystone comedy, "Hearts and Sparks".

Opened in 1910, G. W. Kimball owned the theater and leased it to H. DeMotte Perry. The theater hosted vaudeville acts and movies. The theater was destroyed in a fire on January 19, 1920.
