Description

William and Mary high chest. Walnut veneer, maple and white pine. In two sections, the upper with molded cornice above a bolection-molded frieze drawer over a case with two short over three graduated long drawers, each with herringbone-pattern edging within a double bead-molded surround; the lower section with mid-body molding over two short above three more short drawers over three graduated long drawers, each with herring bone-pattern edging and within a double bead molded-surround, above an ogee-arched beaded apron, on baluster and trumpet-turned legs joined by a serpentine flat stretcher with ball-turned feet with original brasses.
