Slanted writing surface with black baize surface; hinged to case, lifts to reveal storage area; case features applied scroll and strap carving around the key-hole; all supported by legs carved with a ring-turned top, bulbous gadrooned shaft wth alternating fluting, over an inverted four-petal blossom-form.
