Boston Chippendale mahogany easy chair with reproduction red wool damask upholstery; serpentine crest with shaped wings over outscrolled arms; carved cabriole front legs with claw and ball feet, joined by block and turned stretchers to maple chamfered raking rear legs. Reupholstered by SNPEA in 1993-1994 based on red wool damask fabric found under original rosehead nails.
