Rectangular oak chest with gothic style tracery. The gothic style arches are in three separate panels across the front of the chest, in one panel on each end and in one panel on the lid. The back side of the chest has three blank panels. The front side of the chest also has two carved bow shaped medallions. The top section of the chest has three brass hinges along the back edge. Along the interior back edge of the chest and lid the number "2" has been stamped. The key plate has the ltters "Y&T" inscribed in a clover shape within a circle.
