Currently on exhibit at Castle Tucker: "2. Outing Wagon. One model of the popular spring wagon of which there were many variations, with many names, by many builders. Used for hunting parties, picnics etc. The rear seat can be reversed, or removed to carry baggage. It is furnished with a brake for hill country. The popular rival to the spring wagon, the buckboard, could have springs under the seats, but none under the wagon bed. Body originally natural wood finish, ironwork black, wheels yellow with black stripes. Pigskin trimming. Wheels 34" & 46". Track 57". Late nineteenth century."
