Banjo clock

Description

Banjo clock decorated with an eagle with splayed wings perched on a ball. The face of the clock is thick and round. The numbers on the clock are roman numerals with minute indicators and the hands of the clock are spade without tails. At the numerals four, eight and twelve are winding ports. The round face is on top of a tapered body. Down the sides are metal braces that end in scrolls. On the front of the body is a painted scene behind glass of a cabin, trees, and a waterfall. The base of the clock is flat and rectangular, with a dedication plate on top of the front edge. On the front of the edge is another painting behind glass: it contains boats on water, the sea shore, and a house perched on the hill. All of the clock sits on four legs.
