Whiting, Fifty Dollars, for one copy (when delivered) of his proposed Work, giving the occupancy, from Cellar to Attic, of each Building on those Streets and Wharves formerly surveyed by the Boston Fire Underwriters Union and published by them on the Pink (^or White) slips" / It is understood that the Streets are to be arranged in alphabetical order, that the whole shall be bound in one volume in a strong and substantial manner, and (if possible) delivered on or before Nov. 1st, 1877." Document is signed by representatives of 23 insurance companies.
