Joined chest. Riven oak, pine, and maple. Atlantic white cedar moldings on panels. Overhanging hinged lid with molded edge and pegged cleats on case. Molded and sawtooth carved top front rail over three recessed panels enclosed by muntins with applied turned split spindles. Center panel with notched-edge double arch carved with stars and geometric applied molding flanked by panels with applied molding set in a diamond pattern, over a lower rail (actually upper drawer rail) carved with sawtooth pattern. The sides with recessed panel diveded by molded muntins. Till in interior. Old blue gray paint.
