Description

Bronzed metal filigree belt buckle composed of two identical halves joined at center front with a hook and eye closure meant to connect to a fabric or leather belt (no longer extant). Each half of the buckle is composed of a repeated openwork, scrolled foliate decoration with millegrain detailing.
