Each half of this linked pair of fasteners is composesd of a roughly hammered metal disc enameled in dark blue. Atop the disc sits another, cast in white metal in a lacy, openwork whorl with a ropework edge that exposes the enamel beneath. The arms of the whorl are set with white paste gems. The pair of discs are linked together edge to edge with a thin, gold chain.
