Metal buckle cast in the shape of a crescent with a recessed cross bar connecting the tips of the crescent shape. The buckle is made from base metal covered with a silver-colored plating (most likely nickel but possibly silver). The main body of the crescent is convex and decorated with seven parallel black grooves. Marked with a number 1 in the center of the bar.
