This brooch is constructed from a single bar of silver-colored metal set with faceted steel "gems." At one end of the bar is a large ball of amber-colored glass. At the opposite end the metal tapers to a point. Thin engraved lines embellish the triangular point, similar to a pen nib. Closure with hinged pin and clasp on back.
