Description

Part of set of partial bracelet(.1) and matching cameo brooch(.2). Bracelet composed of five Classical female profiles carved in limestone (called "lava" in the mid-nineteenth century), each mounted in a plain gold frame and connected with gold O rings. Partial bracelet is mounted on a brown twill cotton backing (added later to support fragile piece and absent clasp).
