Description

Part of set of partial bracelet(.1) and matching cameo brooch(.2). Brooch composed of a Classical female bust carved in grey-colored limestone (called "lava" in the mid-nineteenth century). She is crowned in grapevines and leaves and wears Classical dress. The cameo is mounted in a plain gold-plated frame. Closure is a hinged pin and C clasp on back.
