This fan is made from silk gauze with carved ivory sticks and guards. The fan body recto is decorated with a central scene of two seated figures in a landscape. Surrounding the figures are floral trails. The verso side is decorated with additional floral elements. Delicate white feathers border the top edge. The guards and sticks are carved in foliate patterns. Retains original silk-covered box and lid.
