Dwarf tall case clock. Arched top with fretwork between three plinths with solid cast brass urn-shaped finials. White enameled face behind arched glass door. Spandrels with shields painted red, white and blue. Basket of flowers painted on lunette. Arabic numerals. Inscribed by maker. Plain swellled mahogany columns flank face. Crotch mahogany veneer on mahogany waist door with applied molded lip. Waist face mahogany veneered on pine. Mahogany sides. Base front with crotch mahogany veneer on pine with veneer banding. Straight French foot. Brass works. Pine back board hinged; hook latch on back left. Paper receipt inside door.

Clock, Tall Case
This clock, with works by Joshua Wilder, and a case attributed to Abiel White, was made in Hingham and Weymouth, Massachusetts. The works are brass and the movement is and eight-day time-and-strike. The clock was sold by Joshua Wilder to Ebenezer Loud, according to the bill of sale which is attached to the inside of the door. It is now on display at the Winslow Crocker House in Yarmouth Port, Massachusetts.
