Side chair. Mahogany with maple loose seat frame. Serpentine crest rail. Pierced splat with Gothic tracery, carved columnar scrolls and central leaf motif H-pattern stretcher. Brackets under seat rail. Rests on Marlborough legs. Original web, linen, stuffing, and cover linen remain beneath twentieth-century red and white check upholstery.
