The chair has a yoke-shaped chest rail and shaped stiles that enclose a vasiform splat in an upholstered seat; and baluster and block turned front legs that end in Spanish feet. The front stretcher is baluster turned, and the double side stretchers, as well as, the single back stretcher are rod-turned. It is Rosewood grain-painted, and upholstered in gold colored quilted linsey-woolsey fabric.
