Two alphabet samplers sewn together, smaller one stitched to the front of the other; larger piece has five complete alphabets plus "ABC" and "A-W"; numbers "1-6"; each line of letters divided by rows of cross stitch; tan and brown on natural linen ground. Smaller piece has three complete alphabets; numbers "1-8"; inscription; grass and trees; cross stitch, star stitch, other.
