A double chair back with gently arched crest rails, that have spirally carved ears over pierced and carved splat patterns, with intertwined elements, scrolls and quatrefoil devices. The serpentine shaped arms have carved, scrolling hand holds that are raised on an arched arm support. The beaded edge seat rail is raised on six legs, with the front legs straight and square, and the back legs square and slightly arched - all formed by rectangular stretchers. The slip seat is upholstered in a yellow, green and red sprig patterned modern fabric.
