Part of set (or parure) consisting of a necklace, brooch and pendant made from multi-colored glass micromosaic medallions depicting flowers, birds and crosses interspersed with gold leaves. The medallions have gold tear-drop-shaped pendants. The brooch closes at center back with a hinged pin and C-hook. The chain and bail were added later to convert the brooch into a pendant. The brooch is missing its central drop.

Before his marriage, Captain Richard Tucker toured Europe in 1857, where he acquired jewelry for his future wife, Mollie, including this set. After the family's fortunes suffered a downturn, Mollie struggled to maintain her lifestyle, reinforcing the necklace pendants with gold-colored thread after the original gold connectors began to break.
