Description

Oval gold brooch pierced at top, bottom, and sides with a trefoil design. Surface of the plaque engraved in low relief with repeating scrolls and plumes. A coral cameo is prong-set at the center of the brooch. Carved in 3/4 profile, it depicts a young woman with her hair in a loose bun. Part of set with 1998.5142.2
