Description

This oval reservoir brooch was designed to hold a lock of hair but is empty. The gilded metal frame is formed with beading and decorated with swags and scrolls of gilded wirework at the compass points. A fragment of black backing cloth is visible through the beveled glass setting. Closure with a hinged pin on back.
