Each earring in this pair is constructed from a hollow tube of tableworked human hair set in gold endcaps. A hinged wire attached to one cap passes through the earlobe and hooks into the cap on the opposite side. A gold bar connects each endcap below the wire. From the bar is suspended an oval, hollow hair bead. A gold wire loop attaches the bead to the bar, passes through its center, and is capped at the lower end.
