Description

Georgian mahogany card table of Chippendale style. It has a three tiered hinged top, with round turreted corners above a frieze drawer with cabriole (swinging)legs. Also, scrolling shield-shaped cabachona (knees) and ball and claw feet. The double top has one of wood and another with depressions for candlesticks and counters which are covered with green baize. The legs terminate in small scrolls. The drawer is of oak with veneer and a small brass drop handle.
