Description

Color lithograph in the style of Maxfield Parrish, depicting a woman lying underneath a tree, and holding a baby up in the air. There is a Tuscan column in the left third of the print, which contributes a Neoclassical sense to the image. In effect, the tree and the column create a naturalistic frame around the mother and the baby. There are mountains and sky in the background.
The lithograph is set in a period frame, which is arched at the top, with a floral motif decorating the peak of the frame. There are eye hooks attached to the back of the frame, along with a blue cotton corn for hanging the picture on a wall. "Love's Paradise", color lithograph by R. Atkinson Fox. Reproduced by Borin Manufacturing Co., Chicago IL.
