Chippendale-style side chair; pierced vasiform splat; square seat; upholstered over the rail (overupholsterd in gold satin damask); back stile terminating in earred crest rail with single beaded edges; back and "H" stretchers, with rounded (somewhat quarter round) upper surface; Marlborough leg with bead on outside edge; all legs are chamfered on the inside; four diagonal braces under seat.
