Set of three white silk sashes [a-c]. There are three stripes across the length of each sash. The two shorter sashes have a 'V' on each end, while the longer sash has only one 'V' at one end. One of the sashes was worn by Lucy Maria Tappan for her wedding, and another was worn by her son, John Eliot Bowen, on his christening.
