A small round tortise shell trinket box. Its top is mounted with a silver band and painted with a view of "Sir William Johnson's House of 1733" in a detailed polychrome painting.

In exhibit "Boxes: Open and Shut" at SPNEA's One Bowdoin Square Gallery May 15, 2001 to October 2001. The exhibit then traveled to Hancock Shaker Village in Pittsfield, MA where objects were on display from November 2001 to May 6, 2002.

Handpainted on the cover design at the bottom rim is: 1773 Sir William Johnson's House.
