Candlestand. Woods, paint, metal. Plain round top with painted rosewood graining (black glaze over red basecoat); pedestal with tapered cylinder and ring turning terminating in elongated baluster form, ending in a layer ring and shorter vase form. Rosewood-grained pedestal, black glaze over brownish-red basecoat. circular with slightly domed plate and similar graining to top. Pieces married at a later date. Top has new brace.
