Glass negative of the oil painting (1963.98B) in the best parlor which is a 3/4 length picture of Mrs. Colman. Box marked "The Forbes Insoluble dry plates. C. & V. E. Forbes Rochester, New York. Proprietors & Sole Manufacturers, Brilliant. This brand of dry plates has special chemical qualities by which they are adapted to the production of beautiful transparencies and excellent lantern slides".
