Description

Finely potted white clay body w/ bluish "white" glaze. Circular plate form w/ wide, very slightly dished rim. Pronounced cavetto and shallow well. Underglaze cobalt blue painted decoration featuring potted plants, tobacco leaf, pine tree and ornamental screen. Scrolled cavetto border. Rim border is quartered w/ floral reserves and blue band featuring rolled textiles and floral sprigs.
