The image verso is inscribed "Duplex house, architect Geo. Rand, built by D.N. Skillings at lower entrance to Rangelely. South 1/2 later occupied by Mrs. James Skillings "Aunt Mell." James Skillings was the brother of Georgiana Skillings Bangs.
