White clay body w/ transparent glaze. Elongated form. Molded beading along edge w/ shallow well and molded vine decoration. Molded squared handles representing branches w/ fox head motif, referring to Aesop's fable of the fox and grapes. Marked, "(ribbon) Thomas Furnival & Sons/ (shield) (lion) (crown)/ Trademark/ ENGLAND."
