The Abigail B. Homer Family Papers are divided into three groups: greeting cards, childhood ephemera, and photographs of the Estate of Thomas J. Homer in Roxbury, Massachusetts. The greeting cards contain more than 250 cards received by Abigail B. Homer and her family throughout the 1940s and 1950s. They represent yearly celebrations, such as birthdays, Christmas, and Valentine's Day, and include other life events ranging from a bout of measles to high school graduation.
Childhood ephemera is a mix of materials covering Abigail B. Homer's birth in 1938 until her high school graduation in 1956. Notable items include recipes for baby formulas, an autograph album that was started on Homer's tenth birthday, and Homer's high school diploma and graduation ceremony program. Additionally, Abigail Homer's baby book, entitled "Our Baby's First Seven Years" is included in this group.
The photographs of the Estate of Thomas J. Homer comprise of six photographs (three unique views, plus one duplicate of each) taken of the Roxbury, Massachusetts property in 1881. The photographs were taken by A.H. Folsom.
