White clay body w/ modified celadon glaze. Slightly swelled cylindrical jar form, rounding shoulders and terminating at short cylindrical neck w/ simple round mouth. Flat recessed bottom. Underglaze blue "willow" pattern, broadly painted w/ boats on water and horse and tree scenic motif. Neck area w/ brown matte glaze. Electrified w/ a glass cylinder fitted to electrical cord which feeds into mouth of jar. No damage to ceramic body from adaptation of jar to lamp. White satin shade.
