Description

Ledger for Sylvester Cram, toolmaker and machinist, at No. 17, Harvard Place, Boston, Mass. This ledger was kept from February 7 through November 14, 1850. It details the people or companies for whom Cram created or worked on tools and machines. Items from Cram's workshop include presses, dies, punches, lathes, handles, belts, steam engines, bolts, cranks, pulleys, irons, hammers, chisels and more.
