Description

Possibly a butter jar. Dark brown glazed yellow clay body. Molded. Cylindrical tub form, w/ faceted sides and dished circular banding at top and bottom w/ molded edges. Each side w/ a molded handle in form of rope ring. Circular lid w/ shallow step molding and flat circular knop handle. Impressed on bottom: "EDWARDS & CO."
