Simple rectangular handle w/ a hole for hanging, surmounting a rectangular plank body w/ a square cut out at center enclosing a rectangular steel blade, w/ a beveled cutting edge on each side, screwed to the body of the slicer. The blade is recessed between two canted or beveled cuts of wood. Supporting member nailed to back. (Similar to a hand plane in appearance).
