Description

Broadside advertising an auction for dwelling houses, located on the "southerly side" of Eighth Street, between L and M Streets in Boston. The property was divided into six lots and the auction occurred on Saturday, May 11, at 4 o'clock in the afternoon.

"This is a rare chance for a workingman to obtain a small homestead cheap within his means and on easy terms of payment."
