Description

Three-gallon covered crock; molded cylindrical buff-colored clay body with salt glaze; molded lip at wide mouth; molded "cap sleeve"-type C-shpaed handles on each side; impressed "3" on front; brown slip lining; brown upper half; pale gray lower half of exterior; circular, slightly domed, three-stepped lid, with the middle step unglazed; flat circular "cookie" knob; impressed "3" at the edge of the lid.
