Description

Certificate to Ezra Dyer of Boston for membership in the Massachusetts Charitable Mechanic Association on March 15, 1821. The certificate is engraved with images of Archimedes on one side and a ship with a flag and a Massachusetts banner on the other. There is a cornucopia and bee hive across the bottom, and an arm and hammer with the words "Be Just and Fear Not" across the top. The certificate is mounted on a wood backing.
